My last story for The People's Friend was called This is The Life. Winning first prize in a raffle transforms Josie into a lady of leisure just in time for Hallowe'en. Little does she know how this taste of the good life will transform her existence. Not pure romance but certainly a dream come true. | ![]() |

Take Twelve Eggs, published in the magazine summer 2006 sparked an idea for a full-length romantic comedy currently under consideration by an agent. Please click on Novels to read an extract. |

My contribution, Scarlet, appears in Issue 2 and its subject matter takes me out of my comfort zone. But I enjoy a challenge! A second story, Vicious Fruit, is scheduled for publication in 2010. |

I very much enjoyed working with my fellow students at Trinity College Carmarthen and you can read the result of this liaison in de/tached, published 2006 by Parthian - ISBN: 1-902638-97-2. |
| On my writing-room wall hangs the print used to illustrate The Garden Party, my first story published in a national magazine. My Weekly editor Liz Smith asked writers to provide a short synopsis of their favourite fiction hero. He may not sport a wet shirt but...if human, MOLE (Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame) would be highly eligible. He's hard-working, conscientious and caring but never boring. Sensing the onset of spring, this adorable 'new man' abandons the housework and heads for the riverbank. He's a faithful friend who loves life and I bet he'd put the top back on the toothpaste! | ![]() |
